@Rady’s Children’s Hospital, San Diego, CA
This project was created in the Audiology department of Rady’s Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA. The audiology department had just installed this unique piece of cylindrical equipment that has a chair inside for children patients to sit in and have their hearing tested. To make the room that this is in more appealing and less scary for kids who have to get into this large cylindrical room with no windows we decided on an underwater theme that alluded to the idea that the cylinder is kind of like a submarine that you get to go inside of and go on a journey. It was fun and rewarding to work on something that has the potential to make a potentially scary experience for a kid into a fun one.:)
@my friend Joe’s apt, San Diego,CA
A few of friends and i were sitting around the table enjoying a tasty meal and we started talking about walt whitman. We pulled out his book “Leaves of Grass” and looking at the photo of him on the cover, and then also noticed the best sunset out the window! Somehow we came up with the idea of Walt Whitman with a sunset in his beard and then- we just had to make it happen! super fun.
NE Flanders st,
My friends over at EPIF restaurant on NE Flanders and 28th in Portland, Oregon was inspired by their time in Valparaiso, Chile and an old print of a girl riding a llama that was passed down through the family. It provides a nice backdrop to their delicious food :)
